Urodynamic testing is an in-office procedure that helps diagnose problems with urination and/or urinary incontinence. This one-hour test is generally performed as a follow-up to a complete history and physical exam, and allows for increased accuracy in diagnosing and prescribing treatment.
Your pelvic floor is comprised of the muscles, ligaments and connective tissue that provide support to internal organs; preventing them from shifting or falling, and helping them function properly. Pelvic floor therapy may include such options as changes in diet, weight loss, specific exercises or reconstructive surgery.
